4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Staff/Caregivers: You are responsible for ensuring patient understanding, verifying critical information, and using professional medical interpreters when appropriate
• Patients: You are responsible for communicating your needs clearly, asking for clarification when needed, and understanding that translations may not be perfect
• Administrators: You are responsible for system oversight, user management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
• All Users: Use the system appropriately, maintain professional conduct, and report technical issues or concerns
• Do not use the system for non-medical purposes or share account credentials with others
• Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and follow all applicable healthcare regulations
• Use professional judgment to determine when certified medical interpreters are necessary

5. LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNIFICATION

By using this system, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The healthcare facility, system developers, service providers, and their agents are not liable for translation errors, communication misunderstandings, or any consequences thereof
• You will not hold the system, its developers, or the healthcare facility responsible for any damages arising from use or inability to use this system
• You understand and accept the limitations of automated translation technology
• You will use professional medical interpreters when appropriate and will not rely solely on this system for critical communications
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the system providers from any claims arising from your use of this system
